Minds & Music: Yearning for the End of Turmoil

The Department of Economics, Philosophy and Political Science invites you to Minds & Music: Yearning for the End of Turmoil, a chamber music recital with comments on the repertoire by the musicians themselves.

This concert, featuring Violinist Gabrielle Després and Pianist Patricia Tao, will be particularly special as the piano and violin recital will feature musicians from the same family, and act as a prelude to the Roger Gale Symposium.

• Beethoven Sonata No. 8 in G major, op. 30, no. 3
• Chausson Poème for violin and piano (originally with orchestra)
• Schumann Sonata in a minor, op 105
