May 11th is Moose Hide Day:
The Moose Hide Campaign is a grassroots movement to engage all Canadians in ending violence towards Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit People.
- Livestream of National Moose Hide Day plenary session, keynote speakers, and march in Sawchuck Family Theatre 8:30AM – 4:30PM. Open to everyone.
- AVPS & Library Staff public reading of the Truth & Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action and the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Calls to Justice. COM 201 10AM – 11:30AM.
- Moose Hide Day book display in the library.
