Rebooting Human Rights in a Datafied World

The Department of Economics, Philosophy and Political Science invites the community to join Dr. Wendy H. Wong for her talk, Rebooting Human Rights in a Datafied World.

In this talk, Dr. Wong will discuss how the proliferation of digital data (i.e., datafication), and its intertwining with our lives—coupled with the growth of AI— is signaling a fundamental shift in human experience.

Dr. Wong is a Professor of Political Science, Canada Research Chair in Global Governance and Civil Society, and Research Lead, Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society (SRI), at the University of Toronto.
