Standardized Patient Orientation Session

November 27 at 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Doctor and patient integration in doctor's room

The Southern Medical Program is hosting a series of orientation sessions for new standardized patients.

Standardized patients are healthy individuals trained to portray their personal history, physical symptoms, and emotional characteristics to test or teach specific clinical skills to medical students.

The orientation session will provide a brief overview of the program and the requirements for standardized patients. Applicants will then have an opportunity to portray a patient’s case and receive feedback.  All ages and backgrounds are welcome. Sessions typically last two hours. Registration is required.
