The university’s relationship with the host nation

October 10, 2023 at 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

The Okanagan Nation’s history with UBC dates back to the inception of this campus in 2005. Naim Cardinal from Indigenous Programs and Services will lead participants on an interactive journey to highlight key historical moments and understand our evolving relationship with the Okanagan Nation Alliance.

A discussion will follow to help participants explore what it means to teach on the ancestral, traditional, unceded homeland of the Syilx Okanagan peoples.
