Trans-Friendly Yoga

Join Pride Programming on January 21 from 8-9 pm in Studio 1 for a free yoga class!
Led by a trauma-informed certified yoga instructor from the Queer community, we will be discussing stretches that are safe for folks who bind, in addition to regular practice. Allies and all levels are welcome to join the class.
Participants can expect a low-lit environment with a low level of noise in the class itself. Typically, classes will consist of light background music and the instructor talking. Folks joining the class are welcome to step out at any time and can take breaks as needed. There are gendered and gender-neutral washrooms and places to change in the Gym building. This class will consist of low-impact movement in a safe and queer-friendly space. All materials needed will be provided but those with their own yoga mats and blocks are welcome to bring them if that is more comfortable for you. Undergraduate and Graduate students are welcome to attend.
