UBC Okanagan Interdisciplinary Co-op Information Session
Interdisciplinary Co-op invites all interested students to attend a Co-op Information Session.
Co-op offers undergraduate students enriched educational experiences through workplace learning in a diversity of organizations. Co-op is a paid opportunity for you to gain employable skills, explore career options, and build a professional network—all before graduation!
During this session you will:
- Learn about what Co-op Education is and how it can fit within your degree.
- Find out tips and expectations about the program application.
- Hear from Co-op students as they share their personal experiences and journeys.
If you have any questions about Co-op or are looking to learn more, attend one of the following upcoming Information Sessions:
- Thursday, September 12, 2024, 3:30 to 4:30 pm @ EME 2141.
- Wednesday, September 18, 2024, 10 to 11 am @ EME 2141.
If you are unable to join at one of these times, please visit coop.ok.ubc.ca/apply for more information, or visit the Co-op Office Hours.
Please note that there is only one entry point into the Interdisciplinary Co-op Program each year, and that is at the start of Year 3; online applications are accepted from September 1-30. Only undergraduate students with third-year standing and enrolled in Bachelor of Arts, Fine Arts, Human Kinetics/Health and Exercise Science, Sciences, Management, Media Studies, or Sustainability are eligible to apply.
Students in Applied Science who are interested in Co-op are encouraged to visit coop.apsc.ubc.ca to learn more. The Applied Science Co-op Program application deadline is September 8, 2024.
