Weeks of Welcome: Mastering the Arts of Making Friends

Join us for a one hour workshop on making friends and building community! We know that sometimes building deep and meaningful friendships can be a challenge and may feel overwhelming. This workshop will help you to develop skills for building connections and grounding yourself in community. We will go over: how to find friends with similar values, how to make introductions, and how to begin to build a community. During the second half of the evening you will have the opportunity to put those skills into practice with a speed-friending event! This will be lead by some upper-year students, and you will have the chance to make connections with other UBCO students.

You are more than welcome to come for just the workshop from 5-6pm, or just the speed-friending from 6-7pm. We encourage you to register, but you are also more than welcome to show up day of.
