The UBC Okanagan School of Social Work (MSW) invites you to attend our virtual UBC Okanagan MSW information sessions to learn about the path to a professional career as a health and human service leader.

All students with an undergraduate degree, or completing one by spring 2024, are eligible to apply.

The MSW program is a professional, accredited program that allows graduates to enter their careers with specialized knowledge and evidence-based expertise in social work practice. Students develop a deeper understanding of the integration of individual, relational, structural and global factors that respect diversity, promote resilience, and strengthen capacity.

Our graduate degree prepares students for clinical practice with individuals, families and groups. Students will also be able to work in various roles including front line social work in healthcare or community agencies, move into leadership positions, or start their own clinical private practice.

For more information about the UBC School of Social Work Okanagan Campus MSW Program or other MSW information sessions, please contact our office directly at ask.socialwork@ubc.ca.

You can follow us at UBC School of Social Work | Okanagan Campus on Facebook or our ubco_socialwork Instagram to keep up with the latest news about the MSW program, to hear about social-work-related events on campus and in the community, and to be connected with students, faculty, staff and alumni of the School of Social Work.
