Winter Break: Volunteering at Okanagan Food Bank

Are you staying in Kelowna during this winter break and looking to get more involved? The Get Involved program has the perfect opportunity for you at the Okanagan Food Bank!

Through this opportunity, you will get to:

1. Build community, gain a sense of belonging, make friends, and network with potential employers;
2. Gain experience, build your resume, and gather training and references for future jobs; and
3. Give back and show your support for this amazing community.

Tasks include stocking, organizing, supporting clients with their request, learning about the food bank’s organizational structure and business model, and developing communication skills connecting with peers and clients!

There are three shifts available:

• 10:30 am-1:30 pm
• 1:30 pm-4 pm
• 4 pm-6:30 pm
