Intercultural Sport Series: Jamaican Dance Workshop

UBCO Recreation, Indigenous Programs & Services, and the Global Engagement Office, together with SUO Clubs and community partners are teaming up to offer a series of cultural sport events that welcome domestic and international students to participate in and learn about intercultural sports. Students will learn the foundational skills of these sports and activities while having fun engaging in multiple activities.
Participants will be encouraged to participate in multiple events to expand their knowledge and experience with a variety of sports. By attending 2 or more events, participants will automatically be entered into win grand prizes!
Join the African Caribbean Club Dance team for a fun-filled dance class. We will be learning a dance from Jamaica called Drift! All you need are comfy clothes to move in and the spirit to learn. No prior experience is needed.
Come as you are and be ready to have a great time!
