Planning and Writing Postdoctoral Applications

July 24, 2023 at 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Centre For Scholarly Communication

If you are in your last year of a Ph.D. program, you may be interested in applying for Postdoctoral Fellowships like the Tri-Agency awards (NSERC, SSHRC, CIHR), Banting, Killam, and many others. This workshop will focus on demystifying the postdoc application by providing an overview of the planning process, some general tips on writing a compelling research proposal, and managing the applications. There will also be an opportunity to pinpoint some high-stakes PDF competitions in Canada.

This workshop will be hybrid. Please join us in-person or online.
