Learn about the many people and resources available to support you in achieving your research goals at UBC Okanagan.
This session is designed for faculty and postdoctoral researchers who are beginning their careers at UBC Okanagan. You’ll learn how the Office of the Vice-Principal, Research and Innovation can help you to be successful and identify opportunities to generate impacts from your research.
Topics include funding applications, awards, ethics, EDI, research tools, managing research funds, advanced research computing and data services, hiring students and industry collaboration opportunities.
You’ll also hear from colleagues in Finance, Human Resources, and the Centre for Scholarly Communications who will be pleased to answer your questions in an interactive Q&A.
Enjoy morning coffee and pastries, and meet new colleagues during a catered lunch.
