The prospect of talking to young people about sex and sexual health can be a difficult one, often made more challenging by a lack of knowledge, personal discomfort, or shame around the topic. The good news is that these conversations don’t need to be feared or avoided.
If you are a parent, guardian, or an askable adult (This could be someone like an aunt/uncle, family friend, mentor or teacher – anyone who wants to feel prepared to have these conversations with the kids in their life that they support/love/care for.), the Workplace Wellbeing team has got you covered for timely information on this sensitive subject, including age-appropriate knowledge, and fantastic resources.
An open group for all international students who want to build a community over art and conversation during the summer. Join us every Thursday from 12 to 1:30 pm in UNC 334

We all want to build emotionally safe and healthy connections in the relationships we keep; we want to feel seen and heard for who we really are. In this 3-part series, you will explore ways to improve the quality of your relationships with others, and perhaps most importantly, with yourself. These three workshops will focus on two interconnected concepts: validation and self-trust. Psychotherapist, Meghan Watson, will deliver the series through a combination of lecture style and experiential reflection, offering psychoeducational material and opportunities for you to reflect on the material.
Join us in person to explore innovative teaching and learning projects funded through the ALT-2040 Fund. Connect with project teams and the partner units that help bring these ideas to life, and get inspired by creative approaches that are transforming education across campus.
These sessions will provide an introduction to HPC and ARC OnDemand and are a great opportunity to explore how high-performance computing can support and accelerate your research. Open to all researchers!
